Andrea Horvath, MD, PhD

Biography: Dr. Horvath received her MD and PhD degrees from University of Pécs, Hungary. Her research was focused on quantitative imaging of brain tumor patients with the aim of revealing the cause of abnormal diffusion in the normal appearing white matter of glioma patients with bi-exponential diffusion imaging. Dr. Horvath previously worked at Oregon Health and Science University within the Blood Brain Barrier Program assessing the application of ferumoxytol imaging in gliomas. Outside of the lab she enjoys hiking, running and playing the flute.
