Eric graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.   He received his M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2009. His graduate studies and previous work focused on computational methods for neutron transport and radiative transfer.
