Please see below for more information about upcoming outreach events.   

Are you applying to OHSU's MD Program in the current cycle (2023) or the upcoming one (2024)?   Do you have questions for us regarding our requirements, secondary application, and overall admissions process?   

Please feel free to join both the UME Admissions and OASIS Program Teams for a drop-in, virtual, open Q&A forum.  No registration necessary!  Monthly sessions will be held each month through the summer, fall, and winter -- stay tuned for future dates.

MD Program Information Day

Are you a current college student thinking of applying to the MD program at Oregon Health & Science University?

Have you already graduated from college and no longer have access to a pre-med or pre-health advisor?

The OHSU School of Medicine is here to help. Medical education at OHSU puts students at the forefront of health care knowledge.  The MD program is a highly competitive and prepares students to be leaders in a changing health care system.

MD Program Information Day

  • The tentative date planned for our spring MD Program Information Day is Friday, April 7, 2023.
  • Registration will open on February 24, 2023.  Please check back here for a link to the registration form at that time.
  • We hope to hold this event in person.  Anyone interested in registering for this event must be willing to:
    • submit an online OHSU Access Pass the morning of the event before coming to campus
    • show a valid form of government-issued identification at the event (e.g. driver's license; passport; state-issued identification card; etc.)
    • NOTE:  anyone who does not follow this protocol will not be allowed to attend
  • If the event is in-person, it will include a campus tour led by current medical students.  Please be prepared for the weather that day.

Note: This event is designed for

  • those who are currently in college (community college, 4-year university)
  • those who have recently graduated from college
  • those who are interested in starting a second career

We give priority registration to first-time attendees. If you have previously attended but would like to attend again, please email Kimberly Felipe and she will put you on the waitlist.  If there is space available, she will notify you as the event gets closer.

COMPADRE College Virtual Prep Series - Pathway for Pre-Meds to Rural & Underserved Medicine, every 3rd Wednesday from 5pm-6pm starting May 2022!
