The Division of Infectious Diseases is committed to sharing information with trainees, community providers and other learners. We offer:

• CME and continuing education for health professionals
• Grand rounds
• Presentations at local, national and international professional societies
• An annual conference in Oregon
• Other events for learners

The goal of our professional development programs is to help participants prevent, accurately diagnose and optimally treat infectious diseases.

You’ll also learn about:

• New antibiotics and other therapeutic agents
• Updated practice guidelines
• Infection prevention strategies, including the latest vaccine recommendations

Grand rounds

The Division of Infectious Diseases participates in the Department of Medicine grand rounds. This CME-eligible series is for health care providers, researchers and students. Grand rounds are open to the public, and all are welcome. 

OHSU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ID Week

Join ID faculty members at the annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, the HIV Medicine Association and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society.

OHSU ID faculty have presented at ID Week. The conference highlights the latest breakthroughs and developments on diagnosing, treating and preventing infectious diseases.
