Adam Oken, Graduate Student from the Mansoor Lab, was awarded the American Heart Association (AHA) Predoctoral Fellowship. 

The AHA predoctoral fellowship will support his technical training in the field of structural biology and sponsor early-career professional development activities. These funds will support his research to illuminate how different ligands modulate and interact with the P2X7 receptor at a molecular level with an ultimate goal of developing novel drugs to treat cardiovascular diseases.
