Flash Chromatography System
Requires user training
Our Flash Chromatography system is a Biotage Isolera and is located in LBRB 553J.
Features include:
- Automated normal and reverse phase column chromatography.
- Various prepacked normal-phase column sizes, 5 g to 340 g.
- Various derivatized and reverse-phase column sizes for special compounds.
- Purification of milligrams to grams of material.
- Diode array UV detector that can highlight multiple wavelengths.
- Automated liquid gradient handling, including the option for mobile phase modifiers such as acids or bases.
Prepacked normal-phase columns are available in the Core for their pass-through costs. Reverse phase or derivatized columns must be ordered directly from Biotage.
Fee structure
User training fee
User training is carried out by core staff and includes 30-minute usage of the Flash Chromatography System. User training usually takes 30 minutes.

Consumables
The Biotage Isolera requires special prepacked columns. The use of these columns is mandatory. Solvents are available in the Core for their pass-through cost or can be brought by the user.
