Jake has chosen to dedicate himself to the service of humanity, as there is nothing he enjoys more than helping someone harness his or her full potential. He strives to seek out challenges on a daily basis, as true growth lies outside the comfort zone. His love for helping others and love for exercise have been the driving forces in pursuing a career in coaching.

Jake got his start in coaching while attending Oregon State University, where he worked with the strength and conditioning program and ran a Muay Thai kickboxing program. After receiving his degree in Exercise and Sports Science from OSU he moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue an internship opportunity with world-renowned strength coach Loren Landow. These experiences laid the groundwork for his career in coaching. Jake has spent the last few years exploring different avenues within the Personal Training industry, and honing his skill sets as both a Personal Trainer and Kickboxing Instructor.

The foundations of his training philosophy include: developing solid stability, fluid mobility, functional strength, cardiovascular conditioning, and Muay Thai Kickboxing skill development and enhancement. He is a believer that learning should never end and constantly looking to improve himself as well as help those around him grow into better versions of themselves. His activities of choice include: muay thai kickboxing, yoga, running, reading, meditation, and mountain biking.
