The General Dentistry and Specialty Teaching Clinics at OHSU provide comprehensive professional-quality care for our patients and educate the next generation of dentists. Appointments are typically longer due to the instructional process. As a result, the fees for care are substantially lower than private practice, making the OHSU Teaching Clinics a great value for patients!

Our Faculty Dental Practice operates the same as a private dental practice with no separate screening visits, and comparable costs and treatment times.

OHSU Dental Clinics accepts most dental insurance plans, including the Oregon Health Plan. Our prices are significantly lower than area private practices, making OHSU Dental Clinics a great option for patients without insurance or those who want to make their insurance dollars go farther. We offer multiple payment options

We are moving forward with gradually reopening and are offering limited services. Please reach out to us to find out more information. 

New patients in our Comprehensive Teaching Clinics are initial comprehensive oral health screening visit at our which includes x-rays so that your overall health needs can be determined. This appointment could last up to 3 hours. Patients should come prepared to pay up to $87.00 for the initial screening exam and necessary x-rays. Payment is due at the appointment and we offer payment options

If you have had a recent set of x-rays taken at another provider, you should bring a digital version on a disk, or have their prior provider contact for information on how to send images online.

OHSU Dental Clinics on South Waterfront is located in Skourtes Tower, the School of Dentistry is part of the Robertson Life Sciences Building, next to the Tilikum Crossing Bridge. The patient entrance is on the bottom floor at the corner of S.W. Moody Avenue and S.W. Meade Street.
