Aleshia is a compassionate and transformative leader who values equity and innovation in healthcare. Her career journey began in administrative support roles within culturally responsive holistic care, behavioral health, and addictions treatment centers. Upon completing her undergraduate degree in psychology & addictions studies and earning her Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor certificate, Aleshia served as Admissions Counselor where she supported individuals through their transition from inpatient to outpatient care. Before moving into a new healthcare role, Aleshia continued her education in business administration while gaining experience in revenue management, training, and finance. Aleshia’s passion and desire for improving processes & systems to support underserved communities led to her transition into healthcare IT and completion of her master’s degree through OHSU & PSU’s Healthcare MBA program. Aleshia continues to hone her skills and interests in strategic planning and innovation as the owner of her own consulting company and current role as IS Project Manager at Providence.
