Mission and goals

  • The West Coast Transplant ID Society serves as a collaborative educational forum for west coast Transplant ID providers and interested trainees (adult and pediatric) to convene for case-based conferences on topics of relevance to the care of solid organ transplant and hematopoietic cellular therapy (stem cell transplant and CAR-T) recipients.
  • By invitation, site leads will curate topics and presenters and will act as a resource to presenters as they prepare.  Topics can draw on management, prevention, diagnostic evaluation and treatment of Transplant ID patients/problems.  Emergent diseases and new or novel therapeutics are of specific interest.
  • Going forward, we are eager to leverage West Coast Transplant ID Society membership to forge collaborative, multicenter research activity.  Look out for more updates on research opportunities.
