Costs

Please contact the PSR core for a project estimate. Each proteomics experiment should be tailored for specific proteins of interest.

The PSR is happy to discuss your project and find ways to cut costs to make an experiment fit within your budget.

Rates

• $100/hour for staff time, including bench work, data analysis, statistical analysis, etc.
• $90/hour (Q-Exactive) to $110/hour (Orbitrap Eclipse) for analysis time on a Mass Spectrometer. Rates vary from instrument to instrument and are based on usage and operation/maintenance costs. Instrument rates are discounted after the first 8 hours of analysis time to accommodate larger experiments.
• Cost of supplies for specialized procedures.

A list of some recommended procedures can be found in the Procedures section of the website. After consulting with PSR some of these procedures can be done in your laboratory using either your own reagents or some of ours. We can work with you to help you learn these procedures saving you money on future experiments done through PSR.
