What is HERO Kids Registry?
HERO Kids Registry is a statewide system for EMS agency and hospital emergency department providers to access critical health information for patients aged 0-26. Nearly every county has registrants with more enrollment monthly.
How to Access Registry Information
- Call the 24/7 HERO Kids Hotline
- Contact us at herokids@ohsu.edu for confidential hotline number
- Search the Oregon Registries for EMS (OREMS) app
- Request an agency account from oprsupport@ohsu.edu
- Review the printed registry form - may be posted on refrigerator or provided by family
- EDs ONLY: Following an EDIE Alert, review information in Collective Medical Portal
- PSAPs ONLY: If provided by caller, tell EMS providers that their patient is in the HERO Kids Registry and provide the ID number. Post this quick reference flyer at PSAP workstations.

Health Emergency Preparedness: HERO Kids Registry is a voluntary, no-cost system that lets any Oregon family record critical health information about their child before an emergency. Registry information can be accessed quickly by EMS and hospital emergency departments at the moment they need it. Parents and legal guardians can register their child or young adult with HERO Kids online. Young adults aged 15-26 can register themselves. Information and registration are available at www.herokidsregistry.org.

EMS can access both HERO Kids Registry and Oregon POLST information on their phones using the OREMS app. Email oprsupport@ohsu.edu to request an OREMS account.
