The Oregon Chapter ACP presents this evening session designed as a rich source of knowledge content surrounding telehealth – including focusing on three types of care delivery for telehealth for Hospital Medicine, Post/Peri Acute, and Outpatient - with a Moderator and Panelists for each session.  Audience will have opportunity for Q&A.

Target audience includes General and Subspecialty Internists, Hospitalists, Family Medicine, and other Health Care Professionals.  Medical Students and Residents in-training are welcome! 

Participants will be able to –   
-Describe general ways technology innovation was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic.  
-Identify the benefits and pitfalls these new technologies pose for patients and clinicians.
-Describe recommended practices for assessing patients when delivering telehealth care or tele-consultation. -Learn new types of technologies that assist in the practice of distance medicine.
-Understand regulatory barriers/challenges related to use of technology at the point of care.
-Understand the socioeconomic limitations and how to try to mitigate them when building telehealth practices.

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of OHSU School of Medicine and Oregon American College of Physicians. The OHSU School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
