Course Information

Course Purpose:

This course will provide education on safe driving behaviors.  It is meant for those who have received a driving citation and been ordered by a court to take a driver safety course.

Location:

Dick Stenson Health Education Center, 334 SE 8th Ave, Hillsboro OR 97123

Time:

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Cost:

$75 per person

Class Rules:

  • Photo ID required (digital or expired is accepted)
    • OR two approved documents showing full legal name if no photo ID is available (bills, social media, subscriptions, etc.)
  • No hats during class
  • Keep phones silent and out of sight
  • No disruptive behavior
  • No late entry allowed

If you cannot follow the rules or the organizer feels you are disrupting the class, you will be asked to leave.  You will not get credit for the course.  You will not get a refund.  No exceptions.

Additional Information:

Registration closes one week before the course.

Participants are responsible for communicating with the court and providing the court with documentation of course completion.  For legal questions, contact the court directly.  For course-related questions, email traumaeducation@ohsu.edu

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

The OHSU Trauma Program may cancel this course if needed.  If the course is cancelled by OHSU, all registered participants will be notified and will receive a full refund of the $75 fee.  OHSU is not responsible for any other costs, including missed work, travel, or other expenses. I understand that this is a court‑ordered course with a course fee of $75. If I cancel my registration on or before the registration period ends, I may receive a refund minus a $35 cancellation fee. I understand that NO refunds are available after the registration period ends, once the course begins, or if I do not attend, arrive late, am not admitted, or am asked to leave for any reason.
