Eric M Chang MD

Eric M. Chang, M.D. is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Medicine. Dr. Chang’s clinical work focuses on the use of palliative radiation therapy for patients with advanced cancer in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed his residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include optimizing the delivery of palliative radiation therapy in effort to improve patient outcomes and minimize treatment burden. As a former healthcare consultant, Dr. Chang also has particular interest in economic analysis and health policy, with special focus on decision modeling and health state valuation.
