2026 Infectious Diseases for the Non-Specialist

Course description

The overall objective of this activity is to prevent, accurately diagnose, and optimally treat infectious diseases.
Participants will also learn about new antibiotics and other therapeutic agents, updated practice guidelines, and strategies for prevention of infections, including the latest vaccine recommendations.
Case-based discussions and ample time for questions will supplement large group presentations. Participants will be able to immediately implement what they learn into their practices so that patient outcomes improve.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6.75 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
