1.0 FTE; Salary range: NIH Scale $39,264 - $54,180 based on years of postdoctoral experience.
Function/Duties of Position
Dr. Damien Fair's work examines ways in which neuroimaging techniques, such as functional MRI, functional connectivity MRI, and how structural imaging can be used to characterize individuals with developmental neuropsychiatric disorders. The Fair Neuroimaging Lab is developing ways to better understand the underlying neurobiology of the clinical manifestations of various disorders including Autism and ADHD.
Candidates should have effectiveness in organizing tasks including computer programming, data analysis and writing scientific manuscripts along with setting priorities, working efficiently with minimum oversight, interacting constructively with faculty and staff, and the ability to be adaptable, creative, and a quick learner.
Job Requirements
- A Ph.D. in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Sufficient computer knowledge to interface with a variety of database, statistical, and imaging task and processing software, such as Matlab, Linux, SPSS, Systat, Access, AFNI, FSL, Presentation, and E-Prime, along with experience in neuroscience and neuroimaging methodologies.
