George Thomas, M.D., is a board-certified anatomic pathologist with expertise in urologic pathology and translational research. Dr. Thomas is experienced in multiple components of molecular pathology, to include biomarker development and validation, image analysis, immunohistochemistry, immunoflorescence and fluorescence in situ hybridization.

Kate Rice became a member of the Histopathology Shared Resource in July 2021. She has certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Histotechnologist (HTL) with experienced grossing, embedding, microtomy, sectioning, special staining and immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Chad Judy is a research assistant 2 who joined our core in May 2019. He has experience in grossing processing, sectioning of paraffin and optimal cutting temperature compound samples, special staining and immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Joscelyn Zarceno is a laboratory assistant who provides support to technical and professional laboratory personnel by performing data entry, record keeping and other clerical tasks related to laboratory operations for the Histopathology Shared Resource.
