Senior Research Associate - Clinical Embryologist

The clinical embryologist will posses all-around clinical and research skills and  knowledge required for the Center for Embryonic Cell & Gene Therapy (CECGT) and will be responsible for independently contributing to and participating in ongoing human and animal embryology related research projects. The employee possesses an exceptional command of knowledge in the field of clinical embryology, genetics, cell culture, molecular biology, and stays current in these ever-changing fields.

The senior research associate will be a leader at the Center for Embryonic Cell & Gene Therapy.  This research center reports to the Chief Research Officer and is a critical scientific center at OHSU; this position is responsible for communications with high level internal and external personnel and must operate with great accuracy and efficiency.

Postdoctoral Researcher position now open!

As a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Embryonic Cell and Gene Therapy of Oregon Health & Science University in the area of biology of gametes and preimplantation embryos this researcher will study meiosis 1 and mechanisms of haploidy in mammalian gametes and embryos using various embryological, molecular, immunocytochemical and cell culture techniques. This research is critical for developing functional gametes for treatment of infertility  and defining safety and efficacy strategies of novel cell therapies for in vitro fertilization.

The Postdoctoral researcher will be a project leader at the Center for Embryonic Cell & Gene Therapy.  This research center reports to the Chief Research Officer and is a critical scientific center at OHSU; this position is responsible for communications with high level internal and external personnel and must operate with great accuracy and efficiency.
