The OHSU World AIDS Day Symposium will centralize and highlight the breadth of HIV-related research, clinical care, and community programs across OHSU. The event will bring together patients and families, community organizations, trainees, faculty, staff, regional HIV providers, and local and state stakeholders to increase visibility, foster collaboration, and build meaningful relationships across the HIV community.
The program will include a moment of reflection to honor those we have lost to HIV/AIDS, while also celebrating the decades of progress in HIV research, prevention, and clinical care.
The symposium will open with a plenary session, followed by breakout tracks featuring scientific and community-focused sessions. Invited speakers, panel discussions, and presentations will highlight advances in HIV research and clinical care at OHSU, while showcasing community programs, partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration.
