Pacific Aging and Cancer Study
The Pacific Aging and Cancer Study (PACS) is designed to better understand how everyday technology in the home could improve care and outcomes for older people with cancer and their care partners. By participating in the PACS study, you could help with efforts to ensure that older adults and their care partners maintain their independence and quality of life throughout cancer treatment and beyond.
PACS uses technology within a person’s home to gather information about their day-to-day functioning as they go through cancer treatment. You can learn more about the technology for the study here.
PACS is enrolling people who:
- Are 65 years and older
- Have been diagnosed with breast or prostate cancer
- Will soon start receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer or androgen deprivation therapy for prostate cancer
