Pacific Aging and Cancer Study

The Pacific Aging and Cancer Study (PACS) is a set of projects designed to better understand how technology could improve care and outcomes for older people with cancer and their care partners. By participating in a PACS study you could help with efforts to ensure that older adults and their care partners maintain their independence and quality of life throughout treatment and beyond.

One of these projects will use technology within a person’s home to gather information about their day to day functioning as they go through cancer treatment. You can learn more about the technology for the study hereThe PACS Home Study is looking for the following individuals to participate:

  • Persons over the age of 65
  • Diagnosis of breast or prostate cancer
  • About to begin hormone therapy
