Behavioral Neuroscience Ph.D. Program

The Behavioral Neuroscience training program emphasizes systems neuroscience, behavioral genetics, and computational neuroscience in the context of healthy behavior and brain disorders. Our students are engaged in multidisciplinary research involving human, monkey, rodent, and songbird models, as well as reductionist and computational approaches. 

Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program

Beginning in the Fall of 2018, Oregon Health & Science University began accepting applications for its inaugural class of students seeking a doctorate-level degree in Clinical Psychology. The first cohort of selected students will begin matriculating in September 2019. 

MD/PhD Program

MD/PhD Program is for students committed to both biomedical research and clinical medicine. We provide a program in which students obtain the training needed to excel as both physicians and scientists.

Post-Doctoral Training

We are firmly committed to training the next generation of psychiatric researchers. Post-doctoral opportunities in our Department are wide-ranging, and are funded both by formal training programs, as well as by individual investigators with our Department.

Psychiatry Residency - Research Track

The Residency Research Track is designed to provide the resident with the knowledge and skills necessary to begin a career in academic medicine as a physician scientist and research-oriented psychiatrist. The Department of Psychiatry has productive, high-impact scientific and interdisciplinary programs in a number of areas.
