M.D. students at OHSU are welcome to pursue their Scholarly Project in our lab, which they present at the Scholarly Project Capstone Event during the spring. Interested medical students should reach out and contact us as early as possible.
We also support (and encourage) our volunteers to present posters reflecting their contributions to research projects during Research Week at OHSU. Our research assistants, post-docs, and grad students participate in Research Week as well.

Medical Research Foundation: Discovery Award
Our lab attended the Medical Research Foundation dinner to celebrate David's Discovery Award.
We make a point to celebrate our hard work as often as we can with each other and to always find reasons to celebrate. While our lab is always a mix of introverts and extroverts at any given time, we know how to have fun together outside the lab.
We also like to welcome our collaborators with the good food of Portland.
Good Old Days
Each of our alumni have made lasting contributions to not only our lab, but the field of nephrology and hypertension. We take pride in all that we have accomplished together in the Ellison Lab. These photos show just a few of many memories that we have shared over the years.
