Gene Profiling Shared Resource
Gene Profiling Shared Resource
The OHSU Gene Profiling Shared Resource (GPSR) was founded in 2001, originally as the Gene Microarray Shared Resource, with the mission of providing high-quality, affordably priced DNA microarray services. Today, the GPSR provides technologies and support for DNA microarrays, quantitative PCR, and RNA and DNA isolation and quality assessment. GPSR users have applied microarrays to gain valuable insight on complex disease mechanisms, the effects of therapies, the genomic profiles underlying a disease predisposition, the basic science behind developmental and other biological processes, stem cell biology and more.
Massively Parallel Sequencing Shared Resource
Massively Parallel Sequencing Shared Resource
The OHSU Massively Parallel Sequencing Shared Resource (MPSSR) was founded in 2009 with the mission to provide OHSU researchers with on-site access to highly parallel short read sequencing technology and to provide short read sequencing services to non-OHSU researchers.
