Specimen Requirements:
10 mL blood in a RED top tube. Refrigerated and Room temperature specimens are stable for up to 7 days.
Pediatric Specimen Requirements:
2 mL blood in a 4 mL RED top tube. Refrigerated and Room temperature specimens are stable for up to 7 days.
Comments:
This agglutination test determines the titer of the IgG component of anti-A1 in red blood cell group O and group B individuals.
