Plasma or Serum on the cells or separated from the cells is stable for 3 days at room temperature or 2 to 8 degrees °C

Pediatric Specimen Requirements:

0.5 mL blood in a 1.0 mL GREEN top, Lithium Heparin or Sodium Heparin (Na-Heparin) tube.

0.5 mL blood in a 1 mL blood in a RED top tub.
