OHSU guarantees coverage of tuition, fees, and health insurance (including for families) for all matriculated students, and will provide an annual stipend of $33,750 for the 2020-2021 year. The funds are intended to help defray living expenses and miscellaneous costs such as books and travel expenses.

Students are expected to be involved in their primary mentor's research lab on the grant-related project. Student teaching is not required to obtain financial support.
