Interpretation:

Results are interpreted and reported by Hematopathologist.

Specimen Requirements:

0.5 mL peripheral blood or bone marrow aspirate, GREEN top (Na-heparin) or LAVENDER top (EDTA) tube. Specimens are good for up to 48 hours if stored at a refrigerated temperature. Samples are good for up to 24 hours if stored at room temperature.

Pediatric Specimen Requirements:

0.5 mL peripheral blood, GREEN top (Na-heparin) or LAVENDER top (EDTA) tube. Specimens are good for up to 48 hours if stored at a refrigerated temperature. Samples are good for up to 24 hours if stored at room temperature.
