Specimen Requirements:

From infants less than 21 days of age. 

Urine collected from urine bags/containers/catheters
-collect at least 100uL
-Keep frozen at a range of -70 to - 10 °C

 Saliva flocked swab specimens transported in BD UVT (1mL or 3mL), Copan UTM (1mL or 3mL), Remel M4RT, M4 and M6 transport media.
-Keep at a temperature range of 2 to 8°C if processed within 7 days.
-For processing 7-14 days keep at -20 ±10 °C
