PacTB Symposium

The Center for Global Child Health Research to Host the third PacTB Symposium
The third annual PacTB meeting was held in Portland, Oregon on March 21-22, 2019.
The Pacific Tuberculosis Pathogenesis and Host-Response Research Retreat was started in 2017 by the Center for Emerging and Neglected Diseases at UC Berkeley. PacTB is designed to provide a yearly forum for the West Coast TB research community to come together for the common goal of understanding, diagnosing, treating and preventing tuberculosis. The last two years have been huge successes (links below).

At the Center for Global Child Health Research, we are committed to improving the outcomes of child health worldwide through collaborative research in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood bacterial infection. Our community for engaging this goal begins with the excellence of our team at OHSU and extends to the network of child health researchers we are establishing throughout the world.
