Marissa Fuqua Miller began her career at OHSU, working in educational research, within the framework of behavioral and social sciences. She continued working in research exploring innovative student and professional development programs, as well as opioid treatment initiatives. Before OHSU, she worked for an international non-profit focused on humanitarian aid and community stabilization. Her career interests lie in developing processes and programs that support and create a unifying, inclusive environment through educational modes. She obtained her BS degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Eastern Oregon University and believes that learning never ends.
