Martha Udelhofen

Hey there, I’m a second year Physician Assistant student here at OHSU. I was born and raised in Colorado and then lived in Wisconsin for a stint to complete my undergraduate degree in Spanish.  I have always been interested in a career practicing medicine, particularly in the area of primary care.  I’m a traditional PA student in the sense that I took some time after graduation to explore the world of medicine as well as my place in it. I love the great outdoors, and find every opportunity I can to sleep in a tent or ski in the backcountry.  I look forward to sharing my experiences with you as a humble student travelling the vast landscape of Oregon during my clinical rotations. Good luck in your individual pursuits. Take care!

Ever wondered what life is like as a student at OHSU? What does it take to become a researcher? Just how gross is gross anatomy? Welcome to the blog that answers these – and many other – questions. It’s students writing first-hand about their commitment to careers in science and health care. It’s honest about the challenges as well as the joys. It’s not always pretty. But it is our story. Thank you for sharing it with us. And please, let us know what you think.
