Welcome to the Translational Neuroeconomics Lab

TNL's research uses rodent and human participants to examine the neural, genetic, and psychological processes governing how individuals choose between alternatives. These alternatives may differ in multiple dimensions, including their size and quality, as well as their delivery characteristics such as delivery delay and uncertainty and effort-required. Biases in weighing these multiple dimensions in decision-making have been associated with various psychopathologies like drug use, ADHD, depression, Parkinson's Disease.
