Jonker lab interns Kaliyah Iverson and Kaylee April Vasquez Reyes were both honored for their research achievements at the American Physiology Summit. Kaliyah presented her abstract "The response of fetal sheep cardiomyocytes to intralipid infusion" at the regular poster session and was invited to present in the Cardiovascular Section's "Abstract Highlights" lightning oral session. April presented her abstract "Changes to non-myocyte fractions of the heart before and after birth" at the regular poster session, and in the "Undergraduate Abstracts of Excellence" session. Both abstracts won "Abstract of Distinction".  Congratulations April and Kaliyah!
