Mike Munks's bio and publications

During his thesis work, Mike performed a detailed characterization of the CD8 T cell response to murine CMV, particularly the phenomenon of memory inflation. His post-doctoral studies examined the mechanisms by which aluminum adjuvants stimulate innate and adaptive immune responses. Later Mike became interested in using species-specific recombinant herpesviruses, expressing reproductive proteins, as contraceptive vaccines for cats and dogs. Mike’s current work, in Hill Lab, is focused primarily on cancer immunotherapy, as well as CMV T cell biology.
