Katelyn Hostetler, B.S.

Biography

Katelyn Hostetler received her B.S. in Biology with a focus in Pre-Medicine from Oregon State University in 2019.  During her undergraduate career she worked for two years as a Teaching Assistant in the Integrative Biology Labs which involved lecturing, teaching, demoing, and grading course work.  Aside from teaching during her extracurricular time, she worked in the Geomicrobiology lab at Oregon State University for 2 years, which involved DNA extractions as well as culturing multiple specimens. Katelyn has always had a passion for science and helping others in the medical field, after she received her degree in 2019 she began working at Oregon Health & Science University shortly after in the Center for Regenerative Medicine lab working on lung ultrasound algorithm development. 

Originally from San Diego, California, in her free time Katelyn enjoys surfing/wakeboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends/family.
