With just one call, you can refer a patient to any OHSU specialist or service. The OHSU Physician Referral Line is staffed by professional and friendly referral specialists, skilled in providing quick connections to the right provider or program.  The Physician Referral Line is answered 24/7 to provide you and your staff assistance with:

  • Referrals or consults with any OHSU specialist or service
  • A direct link to our Transfer Center
  • Information about your patients who have been admitted to OHSU
  • Patient appointment verification
  • Information about any healthcare program, clinical trial or educational opportunity
  • Answers to your questions about OHSU Connect, our secure web portal for referring providers
  • Other resources such as maps, directories, physician CVs and patient education materials

OHSU PROVIDER RELATIONS PROGRAM

We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our referring providers and their patients. Our Provider Relations Managers serve as your personal contact to OHSU and are dedicated to building a positive relationship with you and your staff, so that we can better partner with you in the care of your patients. They can assist you with:

  • Information on clinical specialists, and new and existing clinical services
  • Assistance resolving referral or access issues
  • Access to OHSU Connect, a secure web portal to OHSU’s electronic medical record
  • Information regarding OHSU CME programs
  • Clarification of referral guidelines
  • Information on clinical trials
  • Scheduling of speakers for medical staff meetings/retreats
