At the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute you have access to all cancer treatment options and support services in one place. Our cancer doctors are fellowship trained, have extensive knowledge and focus on an individual type of cancer. They have dedicated their careers to fighting that one particular disease. Each cancer type has a specialized multidisciplinary team that includes experts from different disciplines like surgery, radiation and medical oncology.
Our multidisciplinary teams of doctors and nurses meet weekly to discuss all of our patients, giving you the benefit of the entire team’s knowledge and expertise. We customize treatment plans for each cancer patient and offer a variety of treatment options.
Our focus is to make personalized cancer therapy a reality. Each patient’s cancer is unique; therefore the treatment of the cancer must be personalized. We are striving to treat each tumor based on its genetic make-up.
