The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute brings together a team of experts for patients with liver cancer. Your care will include:

• Liver cancer specialists: Our doctors have extensive training in this complex condition. We are leaders in hepatic arterial infusion, and OHSU runs Oregon’s only liver transplant program.
• Coordinated care: Our specialists work as a team to share expertise and make sure every option is considered for your care.
• Access to new treatments: Our doctors work in the lab to find new ways to treat liver cancer. OHSU clinical trials give patients access to promising approaches.

At the Knight, we will treat you as a whole person. We offer a range of services to support you and your family. Your care team might include:

• Rehabilitation: Our highly trained physical, occupational and speech therapists can help you manage side effects, and regain strength and mobility.
• Palliative care: The specialists on our Palliative Care Service team treat patients at any stage of cancer. They can help you and your family manage pain, anxiety and difficult decisions.
• Social work: You can call on Knight’s cancer social workers for counseling or for help connecting with a variety of resources.
