My Knight Cancer Story
When I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2013, I was moved by the care I received at OHSU and wanted to give back. I wanted to prove that one person can make a difference.
Jeffrey Tyner, Ph.D., assistant professor of Cell, Developmental & Cancer Biology for Oregon Health & Science University, was honored for the development of a research program that more rapidly identifies the mutations driving a patient's cancer and accelerates development of precision treatments.
