2011 NGP Retreat
The 2011 retreat on September 19th and 20th at Timberline Lodge was a complete success! We would like to thank our 2011 Keynote Speaker is Dr. Rachel Wong of the University of Washington for a wonderful presentation. In addition to the great talks and atmosphere, the NGP would also like to thank our our 2011 External Review Committee for their contribution to this year's retreat and our program overall.

2010 NGP Retreat
The 2010 NGP retreat was a complete success and very special thanks go out to the 2nd Year NGP students for organizing. We would also like to thank our keynote speaker, Dr. Bill Zagotta, as well as NGP students, facutly and postdocs who participated as speakers, presented a poster or simply attended. 2010 set a record with over 100 attendees so the bar has been set high for 2011.
We welcomed back several NGP Alumni at this year's retreat and were delighted for Dr. Stephani Sutherland to join us. Stephani graduated from OHSU with a PhD in Neuroscience and is an acomplished science writer. Stephani provided us with a super synopsis of this years retreat.
