OHSU

Neuroscience Research

Neuroscience is multidisciplinary and becoming even more so, despite the increasing technology. Thus most faculty and most projects in neuroscience no longer fit a single subdiscipline within neuroscience. That is certainly true of the NGP faculty at OHSU. Click on the name of the subdiscipline to see NGP faculty listed by traditional subdisciplines in neuroscience:  molecular, cellular, developmental, systems/computational, behavioral, and neurobiology of disease. However, you may find it more interesting to target some of the areas of particular strength in our program as below.  For those interested in behavioral neuroscience and addiction, please see OHSU's program in Behavioral Neuroscience.

Biophysics of channels and transporters

Molecular Neurobiology and Gene Regulation

Neuronal Signaling

Synapses and Circuits

Sensory Systems

Developmental Neuroscience

Neuroendocrinology

Neurobiology of Disease
