Bioinformatics Consultations and Analytical Support

The Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) Translational Bioinformatics Program offers bioinformatics support including experimental design, pre-processing, analysis and interpretation. This program has extensive expertise in the development of high throughput statistical workflows and creation of bioinformatics pipelines for new and evolving technology. Collaborations with industry ensure that the methodological development keeps pace with evolving data types. Fee-for-service bioinformatics support, focused on next generation sequencing, is available to all OHSU investigators. This support has been made possible by a partnership between the office of the Senior Vice President for Research, the University Shared Resources (USR) program, the OCTRI Translational Bioinformatics Program, and the Integrated Genomics Laboratory's Massively Parallel Sequencing Shared Resources (MPSSR). This includes flat-fee based QA/QC and alignment (per sample), and hourly rate analytical support. OCTRI Translational Bioinformatics also provides consultations regarding experimental design as well as data management, stewardship and dissemination free of charge for TY18. We also assist in connecting OHSU investigators with available faculty collaborators from across campus for other bioinformatics needs (imaging, proteomics, immunophenotyping, natural language processing, etc.).
