Experience: Merryl received a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Manipal Institute of Technology of Manipal University in India. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University. Her research includes working with Dr. Martin M. Pike in developing perfusion MRI techniques to study anti-angiogenesis in mouse gliomas, as well as blood brain barrier disruption, inflammation and neuro- protection in mouse cerebral ischemia. Merryl is also involved in projects that deal with developing MRI methodologies in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
