Our Team
At the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute lung cancer clinic, our lung cancer nurse coordinator will coordinate all the care you will receive. She is available to answer your questions and coordinate your appointments with our entire lung cancer team of doctors, nurses and therapists. Our doctors specialize in treating lung cancer – they have dedicated their careers to fighting this disease.
Our lung cancer team is led by internationally renowned medical oncologist Dr. Alan Sandler, who works with the entire team to determine the best treatment for you, including our OHSU community medical oncologists who have a special interest in lung cancer. Our doctors and nurses meet weekly to discuss all of our patients, giving you the benefit of the entire team’s knowledge and expertise.
