Conferences and Symposia
Each year, the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences hosts a spring symposium and co-hosts a fall symposium with our partners at Portland State University (PSU). These symposia address the changing nature of work and the implications of these changes for the health, safety, and well-being of workers.
Our symposia bring together scientists, practitioners, policymakers, and workers to discuss the latest in occupational health science and workplace solutions to the challenges facing worker health and well-being.
Symposia are intended to inform and educate academics, researchers, safety professionals, human resource professionals, managers, supervisors, wellness administrators, and any other individuals interested in improving the health and safety of workers. Continuing education or professional development credits are available for attendees.
