Directions to the Center for Health and Healing
Get safely down to the west side of the Waterfront. Ride along
past the hotel, and continue straight on SW Harbor Way. Then
make a left onto SW Montgomery (following bike sign routes)
into the first section of the South Waterfront. Bike through
the South Waterfront until you reach SW Moody, then make a
left. Moody wraps around to the right and continues south,
and will take you all the way to the Center for Health and
Healing. There is a bike lane on SW Moody.
You can also get directions by going to www.ByCycle.org
(Portland, OR) or to www.mapquest.com,
and typing in the CHH address, "3303 S.W. Bond Ave."
Campus Drive Bicycle Access
According to Ali Sadri, Assistant Director of Facilities Management,
Campus Drive will not be open to cyclists until mid-January.
Bike Commuter Incentive
Effective, May 2, 2005, the OHSU
Parking Office will REVISE the OHSU Commuter Card policy.
This is a FREE punch card to be used by those who bike
to the OHSU campus. Here is how the program works:
Come to the OHSU Parking Office or the OHSU Parking Information
Booth to get your free OHSU Commuter Card. Next, every time
you ride your bike to campus, ride through the OHSU Parking
Information Booth, come to the OHSU Parking Office, or ride
through our parking booth at the Casey Eye Institute. Your
card will be punched and you will be on your way. The best
part is when your card is filled up, you will receive a credit
toward the next month of parking (if you are an OHSU parker),
or a check mailed to your home (for non-OHSU parkers). All
for riding your bike!
To qualify for this program, you must live at least two miles
from OHSU. There are two types of incentives - if you enjoy
the Tri-met incentive and carry a Tri-met PASSport, once your
card is full, we will send you a check or credit of $25. If
you do not use Tri-met, and do not have a PASSport, you will
be eligible for a $50 check or credit.
For details on this program, please contact Angela Timmen
at timmena@ohsu.edu
or call the OHSU Parking Office at (503)494-2655. |
