The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute supports many community groups that are committed to ending the suffering caused by cancer, as well as meeting patient and survivor needs. Learn more below and get involved with these various events to show support for survivors everywhere.

Relay for Life, May - August 2015

The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute invites you to join a Relay For Life team. We encourage everyone to participate: community members, patients and their families and OHSU employees. The Community Hematology Oncology clinics are sponsoring several events throughout May-August, the schedule and locations are located below:

11th Annual SHOC Walk and Run, August 1, 2015

Join over 700 runners and walkers for the annual Sherie Hildreth Ovarian Cancer Foundation Walk & Run in Gladstone, Oregon and support ovarian cancer research and survivorship programs. Learn more.


Get your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk, August 8, 2015

Old Fashioned Picnic and Melanoma Cancer Awareness Event, Saturday, August 15, 2015 9am-5pm

An old fashioned, family fun picnic featuring activities for all ages: pony rides, face painting, live music, an animal show presented by the Oregon Zoo, a sun safety talk, and more. It all takes place at Roloff Farms were the TLC TV series Little People, Big World is filmed. Learn more.

$3 for youth 7-12

$7 for teens (13+) and adults


Dragonslayer NW Sarcoma Walk: Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9 a.m.
