The Office of Academic Programs, Policy and Accreditation provides in-depth information about OHSU students, the quality and effectiveness of academic programs, regional and specialized accreditation, out of state authorization, and manages the process of reviewing, researching, drafting and adopting academic policies.
Key responsibilities include:
Facilitating the process for the approval of new academic programs.
Coordinating data development and maintaining systems to provide broad performance visibility including:
- OHSU Academic Programs Database
- Student Learning Outcomes
- OHSU Fact Book
Coordinating institutional accountability reporting, including:
- Institutional accreditation
- Specialized accreditation
- Annual Key Performance Measure Reports to the Oregon Legislature
- Evaluation Studies
Facilitating the institution-wide plan for the assessment of student learning outcomes and supporting best practice sharing across schools and departments.
Coordinating Academic Program Review to ensure high quality program delivery.
Coordinating data development and analysis of academic-related issues, including needs assessments and survey development.
Reviewing, researching and drafting university-wide academic policies.
