The Application

The OHSU School of Nursing uses an online application process; no paper applications are available unless noted on the application deadlines page. Each academic program has a specific application for you to use with specific application deadlines. Applications become available each fall; typically by October 1. Please refer to the application deadlines page for more information.

Background Check Disclosure

Notice: Per OHSU policy No. 03-10-011 all admitted students are required to pass a background check prior to enrolling at the institution.  Applicants are required to provide accurate and sufficient information related to their criminal history on the application and when necessary, authorize the conduct the background check. Failure to provide this information or knowingly providing false or misleading information is grounds for denying or revoking admission.

International applicant requirements

Anyone interested in applying to the OHSU School of Nursing should review all program details and prerequisites as part of preparing to submit an application. All applicants are required to complete the application process for the specific nursing program that they are interested in applying to. In addition, international students are required to provide an official TOEFL score (minimum scores are: 560 for the paper version, 220 for the computer version, or 83 for the internet version) along with all official academic transcripts that have been transcribed by WES or similar transcript service.
